The biocides group of the Dow Chemical Company, Buffalo Grove, IL, recently announced the debut of its new Taunovate high-throughput testing capabilities. The high-throughput methodology is completely automated and appropriate for use with any industry standard test method including ASTM and IBRG tests, Dow executives said. A wide spectrum of biocide options include existing biocide, different biocide products or combinations of biocides, can be tested and compared. The protocol is designed to help customers contain biocide treatment costs while achieving optimal operational performance.
